Every Hobby Horse kit with fabric includes either a solid color, like brown or black, or a printed panel with a horse coat design. Matching yarn for the mane is always part of the set. Some bundles even include two yarn colors for a natural look, such as our Appaloosa material kit. With these sets, you can sew popular horse breeds like Dapple Grey, Friesian, or Knabstrupper.

Some panels feature clever design elements, like pinkish areas that imitate hairless parts around the muzzle or inner ears. Others, such as the Dapple Grey panel, include light spots with darker borders that mimic dapples, fading naturally into solid grey. The leopard spot design works perfectly for breeds like Appaloosa, Knabstrupper, or Noriker. Our brown pinto fabric imitates natural patches seen on Paint Horses or Gypsy Vanners.
