This bundle brings together all four of our popular hobby horse velboa fabric panels: dapple grey with its soft, radiant spots fading into solid grey, black spotted leopard inspired by Knabstrupper and Appaloosa coats, pinto beige/brown with natural patches and subtle gradients, and pinto dark brown with bold reddish brown-and-white markings for a classic look.

The hobby horse fabric panels are digitally printed on a 1.5 mm minky fabric with minimal stretch. The fabric is easy to care for, machine washable in warm water, and tumble-dryer friendly.

About our Hobby Horse velboa fabric

Our hobby horse velboa fabric is soft and smooth despite its very short pile (1/16″ or 1.5 mm). The short-pile plush is similar in look and feel to our SHORTY minky, though it feels a little thinner and less fluffy because of the digitally printed horse coat pattern. The back of the fabric is smooth, and since it doesn’t shed as much as plush with a 3–5 mm pile, it’s especially easy to work with.

The hobby horse velboa fabric panels are available as pre-cut fabric pieces only, with the dimensions of 39.5×28.5″ (100×72 cm). They are packed in a pretty paper box, which makes it also great as a gift! The dimensions correspond to a 20″ (0.5 m) piece of fabric with a width of about 60″ (1.5 m). The advantage of the pre-cut size is, however, that the fabric piece is more rectangular. This way you can easily make larger cuts from it, such as for baby blankets, pillows or parts for a jumpsuit.
