Our “SuperSoft” minky fabric product line
SuperSoft is our premium microfiber plush fabric, designed to bring unparalleled softness and cuddliness to your sewing projects. Made from 100% polyester, this silky-soft fabric features ultra-thin threads that create a luxurious texture, making it perfect for everything from plush toys to cozy blankets.
This type of plush fabric, often generally referred to as minky, has become a favorite in quilting and sewing communities, thanks to its durability and unique properties. One standout feature of microfiber plush is that it doesn’t fray, enabling creative projects like rag puff quilts where exposed seam allowances can be snipped into fringes for a playful effect.
The SuperSoft collection offers a range of plush fabric types to suit your creative needs:
- SuperSoft SHORTY: With a short 1.5 mm pile length, this fabric, sometimes called Velboa, is thinner and easier to handle under the sewing machine than classic minky, especially for projects like stuffed animals where multiple layers come together.
- SuperSoft SQUISHY: Known as mochi fabric, this 4-way stretch short-pile plush is ideal for creating squishy and chubby plush toys. Its exceptional stretch and durability make it a favorite for unique, squeezable creations.

You can sew children’s toys and baby accessories with a clear conscience from our all plush fabrics, because all the fabrics we sell are tested for harmful substances (according to the European standard for toys EN 71-3 and EN 71-9 – one of the highest safety standards in the world)! The fabrics also meet the REACH regulations 2012 Annex XVII. Therefore, you can rest assured that all of our fabrics are free of harmful substances and therefore non toxic.
