Care instructions for our Cut & Sew panels

Our cut & sew panels are printed on 100% cotton canvas using digital printing. This process allows us to create small batches with lots of vibrant colors and detailed designs perfect for all the different plushies, pillows, and accessories in our collection. Because we’re a small business, we don’t use large-scale industrial printing, and that makes the prints a little more delicate. With the right care, however, your fabric will stay bright and beautiful.

Washing recommendations

  • Initial wash: Please wash your panel by itself for the first wash. Not because the colors bleed (they don’t) but because the weight of other garments or fabrics sitting on the wrinkled panel in the machine can cause permanent creases.
  • Cycle: Use the delicate cycle on your washing machine.
  • After washing: Remove the panel from the machine as soon as possible after the cycle finishes. This prevents the fabric from sitting crumpled and avoids stubborn wrinkles.

Ironing instructions

If your panel has wrinkles after washing, you can simply iron it. Place the fabric on your ironing board and use a medium heat setting.

Why this matters

Digital prints are vibrant but more fragile than mass-produced fabrics. Treating your panel gently ensures that the colors stay fresh and the fabric surface remains smooth, so your finished plushies and projects will look their very best.
