With this stuffed animal making kit, you can sew up to four plush animals using our ultra cuddly SuperSoft SHORTY fabrics. The fabric amount is enough for one bunny, one elephant, and two teddy bears – or four teddy bears, or even two bunnies and two bears. Each finished plushie measures approx. 16″ (40 cm) tall. The included printed sewing pattern guides you step by step and also provides matching doll clothes patterns. Once finished, you can sew tiny garments from old clothing or use the included templates to create mix-and-match outfits. This makes the bundle not only a fun sewing project but also a creative way to turn loved ones’ fabrics into playful accessories.

Components of the stuffed animal making kit

Fabric for the plushies: The bundle includes five pieces of our premium SuperSoft SHORTY minky fabric in ivory, baby pink, camel, taupe, and silver. Each piece measures 19.5×29.5″ (50×75 cm). This short-pile plush (1/16″ or 1.5 mm) is soft, easy to sew, machine washable, and tested for harmful substances. It’s perfect for making sturdy yet cuddly stuffed animals that stay soft after many washes.

Felt for eyes and nose: The bundle includes a 3×3″ (7.5×7.5 cm) piece of black felt. You can use it to appliqué the plushies’ eyes and nose with a simple straight stitch, since the edges won’t fray. Alternatively, the pattern also provides embroidery files for machine embroidery and cutting files for digital cutting machines like Cricut.

Sewing pattern: The stuffed animal making kit comes with a printed template for bunny BIBBY, elephant EDDY, and teddy bear BETSY. The sturdy paper pattern is printed in color and includes illustrated, booklet-style instructions. It also covers matching clothes patterns, such as pants, a tunic/dress, a skirt, a hooded cape, a Velcro-closure shirt, socks, and lace-up shoes. • Face: double-sided iron-on webbing (e.g. Heat’n Bond) + black & white hand embroidery floss OR safety eyes (Ø approx. 0.31″ / 8 mm) and safety nose (approx. 16 mm)
• Fiber fill, approx. 0.3 lbs (150 g) per plushie
