Unicorn “LADY LU” as a security blanket / comforter is about 14″ (35 cm) tall. It’s a lovely first cuddly friend for babies and toddlers. The perfect gift for a baby shower or birth! Thanks to its low weight and easy-to-grip shape, the comfort blanket is easy to hold and cuddle, even for very small hands that are just learning to grasp. By leaving out the horn and the wings, you can also sew a super cute horse blankie with our pdf sewing pattern.

With the included patterns for the letters you can design the blankie with an individual name which makes it the most unique gift. You can sew on the letters with a normal sewing machine and a double-sided iron-on adhesive webbing like Heat’n Bond. We explain how to do this in great detail in the sewing instructions. In order to sew the comforter yourself, you should have some sewing experience and about 3-4 hours of time.

Embroidery designs for the security blanket sewing pattern

Important: You don’t need an EMBROIDERY MACHINE to applique the face elements! You can hand embroider the eyes and nostrils which is explained in great detail in the sewing instructions. However, if you HAVE an embroidery machine, you can also buy the blankie sewing pattern with the matching face embroidery design!
