The “BIG MERINO” from the Spanish brand katia is a bulky grey merino wool yarn – perfect for creating flowing manes on your stick horse. Merino wool is softer than regular wool thanks to its finer fibers, and this yarn is blended with acrylic to make it extra smooth and not at all scratchy. It’s our go-to yarn for making Hobby Horse manes, especially since its thickness adds beautiful volume with fewer strands.
