Dress Me Bestie is the name of our sewing pattern series which is all about dressing self-sewn cuddly friends. Elephant EDDY is 16 inch (40 cm) from head to toe and one of the characters for whom you can sew matching clothes and many great accessories – and all of them are interchangeable between the characters in the series! To sew the stuffed elephant, you should have a little sewing experience and 2-3 hours of time.

What’s special about our Dress Me Bestie cloth doll sewing patterns: Compared to other plush patterns or stuffed animal sewing patterns, Dress Me Besties are quick and easy to sew. The arms and legs are attached to the body pattern piece, eliminating the need to cut and sew small pieces! The ears are also not sewn separately and then attached to the head, but are part of the head pattern piece. You can sew everything together with a sewing machine, so no hand sewing is necessary. That make’s it particularly safe in terms of tear resistance.

About the elephant face embroidery design

If you have an embroidery machine, you can use these embroidery files to embroider the facial elements of the elephant soft toy instead of sewing them as appliqués with a sewing machine or by hand (as described in the sewing instructions). There are two embroidery variants to choose from, in which the inner ears are embroidered either as a fill stitch area or as an appliqué with fabric.

The embroidery files fit a 4×4″ hoop (10×10 cm) and are digitized in the common formats DST, EDR, EXP, HUS, INF, JEF, JEF +, PCS, PES, TAP, VIP, VP3, XXX. After purchase and payment you can download the elephant embroidery files including color charts packed in a .ZIP file. You will also receive an illustrated embroidery instruction as a PDF file.

About the clothes pattern bundle

SHIRT WITH VELCRO
This shirt is super versatile and you can combine it to many great outfits for your Dress Me Bestie. You can sew it with short or long sleeves and it’s closed with Velcro via an opening at the back. This makes it super easy to put on and take off! As a special highlight, you can optionally sew the shirt with a Peter Pan collar, which gives the it a romantic vintage touch!

ALL-ROUND PANTS
These pants are the perfect allround piece for your kullaloo Dress Me Bestie! Whether as shorts or in one of the long versions, the pants are quickly sewn and you can combine them with many other Dress Me Bestie clothes. You can sew both the short and long versions with gathered leg hems and there’s also a slim fit version!

BANDANA
A cute bandana goes with every plushie outfit and gives your Dress Me Bestie the great finishing touch! Whether romantic with flowers, cool with stripes or just solid, you can create the perfect accessory to round off the perfect look.

LACE-UP SHOES
No doll outfit is perfect without the right pair of shoes! That‘s why these cute lace-up shoes are an absolute must-have in your Dress Me Bestie’s wardrobe. Whether in a leather look or two-tone sneaker style, whether classic with white laces or with laces in a color that matches your Bestie‘s outfit – you have a lot of creative options here!

CUFF SOCKS
Of course, your Dress Me Bestie also need some matching socks for their new stylish shoes. These
socks have a small cuff on the upper edge that you can sew either from fabric or from a lace ribbon or a ruffled trim. This way you can create both a sporty look and a romantic, playful outfit.
