About the owl plush patterns
The cuddly XL owl KULLA is approx. 15″ (40 cm) tall. You can us it as either a pillow or big cuddly animal and it is great for cuddling, loving and resting upon. The custom name on the tummy makes KULLA a very individual present. The letters and the face elements are sewn on with a normal sewing machine, the eyes are embroidered by hand.
The big owl has a small baby owl called “LOU”. LOU is a loyal and loveable friend, and at 6″ (15 cm) tall, this cute little bird can be tucked away in a bag ready for cuddles at home or on the go. With a musical box inserted the birdy can lull little night-hawks to sleep.
KULLA & LOU are easy to sew, and therefore the patterns are also suitable for beginners.
Important: NO EMBROIDERY MACHINE is required to applique the faces of the owls! You can do the appliqués with a simple sewing machine and a double-sided iron-on adhesive webbing like Heat’n Bond. We explain how to do this in great detail in the sewing instructions. You can also find video instructions for doing appliqués with a sewing machine on our Youtube channel.
