Sew soft! with kullaloo SuperSoft plush fabrics

Our very own minky called “kullaloo SuperSoft” is an ultra-cuddly microfibre plush made from 100% Polyester and is available in many cheerful colors and different pile lengths.

Our bestseller SuperSoft “SHORTY” with a very short pile length of 1.5 mm is similar in appearance and structure to a Nicky fabric, but is significantly softer and more cuddly. It is also known as Velboa fabric. We think it’s the best fabric for plush toys because it’s ultra soft, but because it has a short pile, it’s also a lot easier to sew than 3 or 5 mm plush! It’s also very similar to the fabric you might know from squishmallow plush toys, but less elastic.

If you need a fluffy fabric that is a little bit more cuddly, our SuperSoft “SNUGLY” with 5 mm pile might be the right fabric for you. It has a very soft surface that invites you to cuddle and relax and is therefore the perfect all-rounder for a wide variety of sewing projects. It is more stretchy than our SHORTY plush and creates more lint when cutting, but it is easy to stuff and gives your plushie a nice fluffy look.

Minky – easy to work with

Our plush fabric is knitted and therefore does not fray at the edges. The fabric has a smooth, knitted back so it’s easy to transfer pattern pieces to it. You can find many useful tips and tricks for sewing with Minky here. The plush is also very easy to care for: the fabrics are colourfast, do not shrink and are machine washable and even suitable for tumble drying. Buy plush

You can buy our Minky in units of 0.5 meters. If you increase the amount during the ordering process, your fabric will of course be delivered in one piece. If you order half a meter of our SuperSoft plush, it will come to you in a pretty banderole.
